The Davao City Agri­cul­tur­ist’s Office (Cagro) encour­aged Dabawenyo farm­ers and fish­er­folk to take part in the one-time regis­tra­tion of agri­cul­tural and fish­er­ies machinery and equip­ment under City Ordin­ance No. 0167-23, Series of 2023. The ordin­ance, oth­er­wise known as “An Ordin­ance Insti­tut­ing and Imple­ment­ing the Regis­tra­tion of Own­er­ship and Invent­ory of Agri­cul­tural and Fish­er­ies Machinery and Equip­ment Within the Ter­rit­orial Jur­is­dic­tion of Davao City,” requires all farm­ers, fish­er­folks, and agribusi­ness own­ers to register their machinery used for pro­duc­tion, har­vest­ing, stor­age, man­u­fac­ture and dis­tri­bu­tion of agri­cul­tural products.
