    Excerpt
The effort to rehabilitate the waters of the Manila Bay received a much-needed boost with MV Nilad, a marine cleanup vessel donated by the Government of the Republic of Korea, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) said. The effort to restore the waters of Manila Bay to its pristine state is a continuing mandate of the Supreme Court to 13 government agencies led by the DENR. Aside from high fecal coliform levels, Manila Bay’s coasts is also occasionally polluted with marine litter swept by tides.
