The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) rescued eight people after their fishing boat capsized off the waters of Culasi, Antique, while seeking shelter from rough weather late Tuesday night, Aug. 4. The Coast Guard Sub-Station (CGSS) Culasi in Antique said the fishing boat overturned about 5.7 nautical miles off Culasi on Tuesday. CGSS Culasi received a report about the incident at around 10:30 p.m., prompting the immediate deployment of its search and rescue team.
