    President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met with Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Jing Quan at Malacañang on Tuesday, a day after a Philippine Navy personnel was hurt by a Chinese Coast Guard at the Ayungin Shoal. “PBBM [President Marcos] summoned the Chinese ambassador over a maritime incident at the Ayungin Shoal,” Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said in a statement. “It concerns national security, but we will give additional information once we are allowed,” she added.
