BFAR-6 to establish 51 fish landing centers

The establishment of 51 community fish landing centers (CFLCs) in Western Visayas is the priority of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR-6) in 2017. The centers will be distributed in the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, and Guimaras. BFAR-6 Regional Director Remia Aparri said the fish landing center is aimed at reducing post-harvest losses of fishermen.
