A total of 380K WV farmers and fisherfolk in Western Visayas will begin receiving financial assisteance this week as the government rolls out an P884.5 million subsidy aimed at cushioning the impact of rising fuel costs on the agriculture and fisheries sectors. The department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Office 6 confirmed that distribution of the Presidentisl Assistance to Farmers and Fisherfolk (PAFF) will start on Thursday, April 16, following the download P884,546,250 from the DA Central Office intended for beneficiaries across the region.
