    Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mofa) reiterated that it must not be excluded from multilateral mechanisms on South China Sea disputes, stressing its role as a responsible stakeholder in safeguarding peace and stability in the region. Marking the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Arbitral Ruling, the foreign ministry reaffirmed Taipei’s sovereignty claims. It outlined that four principles with regard to the South China Sea disputes that remain unchanged: disputes must be resolved peacefully under international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (Unclos);
