‘Food delivery: Fresh from the West Philippine Sea”—a documentary that follows the daily struggles and resilience of Filipino fishermen as they defend their livelihoods against aggression, will be screened for free this July. Directed by Baby Ruth Villarama and produced by Voyage Studios, the short film premiered at the 2025 DocEdge Festival—an Academy Award-qualifying global film fest in Auckland, New Zealand. It was honored with the “Tides of Change” recognition.
