    Excerpt
A national federation of small fishermen and fisherfolk is urging the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to provide immediate assistance to fellow fisherfolk affected by the massive fish kill that hit the Magat Dam. The fish kill affected over 1,400 fisherfolk in the town of Ramon, Isabela Province alone. Magat Dam is one of the largest and most prominent multi-purpose dams in the Philippines, located at the boundary of Ramon, Isabela, and Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.
