    Excerpt
Sen. Anna Theresia “Risa” Hontiveros, whose Akbayan party-list group was among the first to consistently call out China for its muscling tactics at the West Philippine Sea, on Sunday hailed the arbitral ruling of The Hague-based tribunal 10 years ago. At the same time, Sen. Erwin Tulfo pushed for early passage of a bill mandating the teaching of the West Philippine Sea issues in classrooms, after Chinese scholars called the island province of Batanes, a “natural geographical extension” of Taiwan.
