The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) said it has distributed 107,470 tilapia fingerlings to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) in Barangays Mangayawan and Iquin, Canaman, Camarines Sur, providing them with an immediate source of food and additional income. The fingerlings, provided by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), in partnership with the DAR Camarines Sur II, were released into fishponds located on lands awarded to the ARBs. Within four months, the fish are expected to reach market size, ready for both family consumption or for sale.
