Authorities apprehended five fishermen for alleged illegal fishing along the coastline of San Dionisio, Iloilo on July 15. The suspects identified as aliases “Bombie”, 52; “Dennis”, 30; “Glen”, 41; “Reylan”, 50; and “Arnold”, 64, all residents of the town’s Barangay Agdaliran, were caught fishing without the necessary licenses or permits in the coastal waters of the said village, a designated marine protected area.
