Stakeholders and marine scientists are strengthening collaboration for the sustainable management of small pelagic fish species under Fisheries Management Area (FMA) 8. The Technical Working Group (TWG) and Scientific Advisory Group (SAG) met from 14 to 16 April 2026, to refine the Fisheries Management Plan for shorthead anchovy (tugnos), a dominant species in the area.
