A cooperative in Barangay Binaobawan, Pilar is the recipient of a P1-million fishing supplies and general merchandise store, answering the long-standing call of local fisherfolk for a more accessible and affordable source of necessities to support their livelihood. The Binaobawan Fisherfolk Association (BFA) is now tasked to sustain the operations of the store. The project is part of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Capiz provincial government through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist to provide additional livelihood opportunities and support to fisherfolk and farmers throughout the province.
