The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Wednesday said Filipino exporters earned $514.8 million (about P31.68 billion) in consolidated sales at the 32nd Seafood Expo Global (SEG) in Barcelona. The amount consisted of $450.6 million (P27.73 billion) in booked sales and $64.17 million (P3.95 billion) in negotiated deals, said DA Undersecretary for Fisheries Drusila Esther Bayate, who led the Philippine delegation at the event, said to be the world’s largest dedicated seafood trade exhibition.
