    Sagay City responds to molasses spill in coastal waters

    A molasses spill has affected coastal communities in Sagay City, Negros Occidental. The spill, which occurred on August 7, has impacted around 1.3 hectares of the Sagay Marine Reserve. According to Mayor Narciso Javelosa Jr., this prompted immediate response efforts to mitigate environmental damage and support local fisherfolk.
