    Excerpt
The Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources reported steady growth in fry and fingerling production, which reached 335.3 million in 2025. This is an increase of nearly 10 million, or 2.88 percent, from 325.9 million in 2024. The agency said the increase directly benefits fish farmers by improving access to quality stocking materials and supporting higher aquaculture productivity nationwide.
