More than 500 newly hatched sea turtles were released into their natural habitat here in Barangay Labac to highlight the 15th Pawikan Festival on Friday. The activity was led by Naic Mayor Rommel Magbitang, Vice Mayor Jacinta Remulla and former congressman Teodoro Baguilat Jr. Roger Bilugan, leader of the Samahan ng Labac Pawikan Patrollers (SLPP), said a volunteer group has been tasked to take care of sea turtle eggs found in nesting grounds at the shores of Naic.
