    The country’s marine biodiversity is facing big challenges, with coral cover and fish populations under constant threat from pollution, experts warned. Dr. Wilfredo Licuanan, a principal investigator at the Br. Alfred Shields FSC Ocean Research (SHORE) Center of De La Salle University and Rodne Galicha, executive director of the Living Laudato Si’ Movement Philippines, said climate change was compounding marine biodiversity issues.
