A joint law enforcement operation led to the apprehension of 11 alleged illegal fishers in the waters off Barangay Buaya, Carles, Iloilo. Officers of the Carles Municipal Police Station led by Police Major Sonny Boy Garnace and the Bantay Dagat Task Force were conducting seaborne patrol targeting illegal fishing activities in the area on October 1 when they spotted motor banca F/B Remund Joy.
