    Excerpt
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Tuesday exposed a “coordinated and malicious” fake news campaign on social media that defends China’s actions and aims to undermine the Philippines’ stance in the West Philippine Sea (WPS). Speaking before the House Tri-Comm investigating the proliferation of fake news and disinformation online, PCG Commodore Jay Tarriela identified two Filipino vloggers, Anna Malindog Uy and Ado Paglinawan, as publicly disseminating content that amplifies pro-China disinformation.
