The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) recently held the Fostering Innovation and Regional Excellence (FIRE): “Igniting Collaboration in Science and Technology” Balik Scientist Forum in Western Visayas. The event was highlighted by the participation of nine Balik Scientists, who presented high-impact R&D projects designed to address the pressing needs of the region.
