All available coast guard personnel have been mobilized and marine vessels were deployed to assist in the oil spill recovery operations off Naujan in Oriental Mindoro. This was upon the instructions of Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant Admiral Artemio Abu who joined on Friday the aerial surveillance of the nearly six-kilometer-long oil spill from the capsized M/T Princess Empress.
