    Excerpt
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) is eyeing to release by next year the guidelines regarding the setting up of aquamarine economic zones in the country which will focus on “high-end” fish processing with the goal of strengthening food security and spurring export revenues of fish and seafood. Ludwig O. Daza, Department Manager for Ecozone Development Department of PEZA, told the BusinessMirror on the sidelines of the hearing before the House Committee on Economic Affairs on Tuesday that “we have to come up first with the guidelines and then publish it as we have done with KIST Park and Pharma ecozones. We’re collaborating with the [Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources] BFAR.”
