    Excerpt
Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. on Wednesday exhorted stakeholders in the tuna industry to step up and protect the sector amid challenging times. “This is our moment to lead, or be left behind,” Tiu Laurel said at the 25th National Tuna Congress in General Santos City. He noted that while the stakes are high, so is the potential of the popular fish widely consumed for its nutritional benefits.
