The Antique Provincial Health Office (PHO) placed all district hospitals on code white alert in connection with the oil spill. Provincial Health Officer II, Dr. Ric Noel Naciongayo, issued a memorandum on this on March 4. “The activation of an emergency response team and a local operation center hotline is advised in all municipalities and hospitals during this period,” read part of the order.
