The agriculture and fisheries sector in Central Visayas posted a 5.2-percent growth in total production in 2024 at constant 2018 prices. Philippine Statistics Authority – Central Visayas (PSA-7) director Wilma Perante unveiled the data during the Regional Dissemination Forum on Wednesday. She said the sector’s value of production reached P63.15 billion at constant prices while at current prices, it generated P88.51 billion, marking a year-on-year increase of 7.9 percent.
