    At least 21 people were reported to have died while 30 others were rescued after their boat sank in waters just meters from their port of origin in Barangay Kalinawan, Binangonan, RIzal. An initial report by the Philippine Coast Guard's substation in Binangonan identified the sunken outrigger boat as Princess Aya.
