In a bid to uplift the livelihoods of local fisherfolk, the provincial government of Capiz, under the leadership of Gov. Fredenil H. Castro, distributed brand-new fishing boats to beneficiaries in Barangay Balogo, Pilar town, on June 13. The distribution ceremony was attended by recipients from various barangays within the municipality of Pilar, including Balogo, Binaobawan, Dayhagan, Natividad, Rosario, Poblacion, and San Ramon, as well as from Barangay Light in Panay town. The beneficiaries were accompanied by their respective local officials.
