Despite the declaration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to suspend all reclamation projects in Manila Bay, dredging activities intended for reclamation continue in Cavite, a fisherfolk group claimed. The Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (Pamalakaya) reported seeing vessels that are dredging off the shores of Rosario, Noveleta, Tanza, and Naic in Cavite on Sunday.
