The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of slope protection along the banks of the Pasig-Potrero River in Barangay Manuali, Porac town. DPWH-Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) implemented the project with a budget of P96.2-million funded under the 2022 national budget. The construction of the 310.31-lineal meter structure on a steel sheet pile foundation is expected to help prevent flooding and soil erosion in areas near the Pasig-Potrero River, which are affected by the rapid flow of water during heavy rains.
