Sen. Bong Go celebrated his birthday last Saturday eating in a military-styled boodle fight with fishermen in Davao del Norte and reaffirming his commitment to serve the grassroots sector, especially those who work to help attain food security. In a gathering by the sea, Go shared with the fisherfolk a meal that include fishes he bought to support their livelihood. “I will celebrate my birthday with you because I really don’t do parties. Former president Duterte also don’t party. He serves food at the Smokey Mountain or to cancer patients during his birthdays. I chose to be with fishermen and their families,” Go said.en
