Operatives from the Naval Forces Western Mindanao rescued at least 24 people from sea vessel M/L Rihana after it encountered engine trouble and drifted off tagupi Island in Malaysia. NFWM commander Rear adm. Donn Anthony Miraflor reported on Tuesday that the Maritime Situational Awareness Center-Western Mindanao and the Littoral Monitoring Station in Bongao, monitored a distress call from M/L Rihana.
