A total of 50 fiberglass-reinforced plastic boats worth P2.2 million were received by the beneficiaries, including motor engines and underwater fittings and accessories. The Department of Agriculture-through the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Central Luzon - recently gave at least P3 million worth of assistance to fisherfolk in the towns of Lubao and Sasmuan.
