    The Chinese Embassy in the Philippines on Friday defended Beijing fom criticism following its latest move in the West Philippine Sea, which includes the deployment of buoy vessels around the Spratly Islands. In a statement, the Embassy said the deployment of buoys in "relevant waters of China's Nansha Islands" is an "act of exercising its sovereignty in accordance with (the) law."
