The Cebu City Environment and Natural Resources Office (Ccenro) is tapping barangay officials and communities to conduct environmental campaigns, following a river assessment that found rivers in the city needing protection. In a report endorsed to the City Council on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Ccenro noted the vital need to coordinate with the City’s Protected Area Management Office (PAMO) and Central Cebu Protected Landscape (CCPL).
