One more cadaver was recovered from the capsized sand carrier MV Hong Hai 16 in the sea of Rizal, Occidental Mindoro on Black Saturday, April 19, raising the death toll to seven. The PCG said the cadaver was retrieved from the accommodation area of the vessel at 3:56 p.m. by personnel of the PCG Special Operations Group-Southern Tagalog and technical wreck divers of the Special Operations Force, who were deployed from Manila to reinforce the search and rescue mission. "Identification of the recovered individual remains pending and information is being withheld until the next of kin has been properly notified," the PCG said in a statement.
