    President Marcos has ordered a thorough investigation on reports that sand dredged from the Philippines coastal areas is being used for illegal reclamation activities in the West Philippine Sea (WPS). In a press briefing in Malacañang on Wednesday, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the Chief Executive is already aware of the said incidents. Related story on Economy page “The investigation is ongoing and once there is a final investigation or conclusion regarding this, an immediate order will be made— depending on the results of the investigation,” Castro said in Filipino.
