President Marcos has ordered a thorough investigation on reports that sand dredged from the Philippines coastal areas is being used for illegal reclamation activities in the West Philippine Sea (WPS). In a press briefing in Malacañang on Wednesday, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the Chief Executive is already aware of the said incidents.
