Fish prices drop dring Holy Week; Binignit ingredients vary in Cebu City

Fish prices at Carbon Public Market in Cebu City have either dropped or remained stable despite Holy Week, contrary to typical seasonal trends. The Office of the City Markets reported that some fish varieties decreased by up to P110 per kilo from March prices. On April 14, mamsa sold for P270-P300 per kilo, down from P380 in March. Bariles dropped to P120-P200 from P240, while yellowfin decreased to P160-P230 from P240.
