    Excerpt
The local ban imposed in the harvest, transport, and sale of shellfish from Capiz province is still in effect. Capiz Governor Victor Tanco said the ban will remain in effect until the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) declares there is no more red tide in Sapian Bay. Two Capiz towns were already declared under the state of calamity because of the red tide phenomenon.
