There's something fishy about the current surge in fish prices in Western Visayas, even with the lifting of the three-month fishing ban in the Visayan Sea, which officially ended on February 16. While the lifting of the ban was supposed to boost supply and make fish more abundant-thus pushing prices down-the reality seems far different.
