The Iloilo Bantay Dagat Task Force intensified its campaign against illegal fishing with the arrest of two fishermen near Sicogon Island in Carles town on Friday night, March 28. Aliases “Mar”, 35, a resident of Barangay Logingot, Estancia town, and “Mino”, 53, from Barangay Binonan, Batad, were caught engaging in illegal fishing activities. They were operating fishing boat (FB) “Elmar” and FB “Handsome”, respectively.
