As Host of this year's Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, President Aquino has no intention of using the forum as a platform to gain mileage for the country's territorial dispute with China which is now up for international arbitration. That's in the same way as the country's CEO refrained from bringing up this dispute when the Philippines hosted the World Economic Forum in 2014 (even as his peer from Vietnam grabbed the limelight to lambast China at the plenary session). But China will figure out in the Apec discussions, Mr. Aquino said during yesterday's multimedia #MeetInquirer forum.
