dc.descriptionThe Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) has awarded P1 million to Pacific Farms Inc. to support its innovative vertical salt farming technology aimed at revitalizing the Philippine salt industry and boosting local production. The funding, provided through the DoLE Adjustment Measures Program (AMP), will be implemented in two phases: capacity building and the evaluation and application of training. The award was granted on 28 February. DoLE Undersecretary Carmela Torres emphasized that the initiative reflects the department’s commitment to supporting businesses and workers pursuing innovation and sustainable growth aligned with national development goals.en
