The Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC) Central Luzon convened its 2nd Sectoral Committee Meeting and 2nd Executive Committee Meeting at the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Office in the City of San Fernando, tackling key issues affecting the region’s farmers and fisherfolk. A key issue in the event was the funding allocated for the implementation of agricultural projects in certain provinces. RAFC members also raised the budget constraints continue to hinder the rollout of critical programs, affecting production targets and support services for farmers and fisherfolk.
