Magalona in Negros Occidental, through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), spearheaded several activities in the coastal barangay of Tomongtong yesterday, February 5, in celebration of the World Wetlands Day. This year’s celebration has the theme “Protecting Wetlands for Our Common Future.” Around 300 participants from various organizations conducted coastal cleanup and planted 300 mangrove seedlings at the Tomongtong Mangrove Eco-Trail.en
