The Bureau of Fisheries-Davao Region (Bfar-Davao) wants to reassure Dabawenyos that fish prices remain stable. According to Raul Millena, the regional director of BFAR-Davao, there have been no significant changes in fish prices. Despite the conclusion of the Davao Gulf closing season on August 31, the fish supply in the region continues to be sufficient. The recent closing season was carried out following Joint Administrative Order (JAO) No. 02, "Establishing a Closed Season for the Conservation of Small Pelagic Fishes in Davao Gulf," mandated by the Department of Agriculture (DA)-(Bfar)-Davao and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Davao, marking its tenth year of implementation.en
