Fish farmers in Paombong, Bulacan who were affected by Typhoon Egay and habagat received some 900,000 milkfish fry from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Central Luzon. The BFAR said the milkfish fry was provided by the Sarangani Fry Finfish Hatchery in support of the agency’s recovery efforts and fish sufficiency program. The agency added that fish growers at the Paombong municipal covered court received the milkfish fry on Thursday, through the Municipal Agriculture Office.
