Two persons were arrested for illegal fishing in Bukot Island, Barangay Talotu-an, Concepcion. Aries Artisana, 35, of Barangay Tanza, Estancia, and Benjie Santillan, 39, of Barangay Caw-i, Batad were caught in the act by the Bantay Dagat around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9. “Ang duha ka mga persona karon ang nahunong sa custodial facility sang Conception MPS (Municipal Police Station). Na-file na ang kaso sa ila for violation of sections 86 and 95 of Republic Act (RA) 8550 as amended by RA 10654,” said Edward Cabugwason Jr., a non-uniform personnel of the Concepcion MPS.
