    Excerpt
With little rain to augment Metro Manila’s water sources, the National Water Resources Board or NWRB is uncertain if the reservoirs could still accommodate a higher water share for its concessionaires. During a public briefing on Monday, NWRB Executive Director Bill David Jr. admitted that there was an urgent need to control and manage the release of water to avoid shortages. “The level of Angat Dam continues to change and there is not much rain that we will experience. We think that we need to control the release of water to ensure supply even until next year,” David said.
